Maine Water supports Coats for Kids

coats for kids 2015[1]A unique approach with Friday “Jean” funds

(Saco, Maine) Maine Water has donated 20 brand new winter coats to the Salvation Army’s Coats for Kids program, through the coordination and efforts of Kim Nightingale, long time employee of Maine Water and the former Biddeford and Saco Water Company.

Office employees at Maine Water “buy” the privilege of wearing jeans on Fridays, and the funds are accumulated throughout the year to be used for a local charity. Mrs. Nightingale, who oversees the funds, found a good bargain for new parkas that will help 20 children stay extra warm this winter through the donation to the Salvation Army’s program.
