This morning Grondin Construction will be working on Southgate Avenue and getting that street tied over to new water main. Our customers on Southgate Avenue have been notified of the shut down for today.
Grondin Constructions service crew will continue to work on the West Street services from Southgate towards the end of the work zone near West Street Motors.
The streets that have been tied over to the new main and are complete include; Gertrude Avenue, Wendell Avenue, Bald Avenue, Priscilla Avenue, Century Drive and Southgate Avenue today.
Tuesday we are scheduled for the Debbie Avenue connection.
Wednesday we have scheduled both Prospect Street and Greenfield Lane connections.
Thursday we have tentatively scheduled the Westland Avenue connection.
We have changed the Granite Street 8-inch valve installation to tomorrow Tuesday, the 16th with Labbe Excavation, the change is due to the work scheduled for West Street on Wednesday with Grondin to minimize the number of customers that will be without water on Wednesday. We are notifying for a shut down time of 9am and for approximately six hours.
